On the 15th and 16th of June 2022, IA Labs made our first appearance at the Dublin Tech Summit held in the RDS centre on Dublin’s southside. As this was our first time exhibiting at an event since incorporating in August 2021, all of our team were hyped and ready to network.

June is Pride Month and Pride Month is in honor of the Stonewall Uprising in 1969. To show support and give credit to such a important day for equality, IA Labs have changed their logo to incorporate the progressive pride flag.

Access to education is a fundamental right for everyone in Ireland. However, in 2016, the national census showed that only 13% of people in Ireland with a disability were in education. Of these, only 20% completed higher level education.

IA Labs announces launch of voice-based service for NCBI

Today marks the official launch of myNCBI Smart Hub, a voice interaction model available on all Alexa-enabled and Google Home devices that gives users of all demographics easy access to information on NCBI’s services and special features just by saying, “Alexa / Google, open myNCBI”.
